Geekon™ is a regional celebration of fantasy, science fiction, comic artists and authors. We’re going back to a grass roots core experience, encouraging new participants and local talent.

We’re a celebrity free zone! – Geekon™ will still celebrate all things pop and geek culture, such as comics, collectables, games, and fantasy. However, our focus will be on helping you discover incredibly talented Australian creatives, including:

• Sci-Fi and Fantasy authors
• Comic book creators
• Artists and makers

Geekon™ aims to deliver the fun and joy of pop culture events to regional communities, in a smaller, more enjoyable format. This will make it more accessible and welcoming for entry level enthusiasts and reduce the sense of being overwhelmed by the crowd size of major city-based conventions. The event will include:

• Panels, demonstrations and workshops
• Live Entertainment
• Food trucks and picnic tables
• Authors and artists
• Exhibitors market
• Capped ticketing
